"Between Every Two Pines is a Doorway to a New World" ~ John Muir

One of my favorite quotes by John Muir is: “Between Every Two Pines is a Doorway to A New World”. 
This quote can be interpreted in so many ways, conjuring images of new possibilities, changing seasons and enchanted pine forests. 
I made these earrings with these thoughts in mind, working through sketches and sawing out pine trees until I had just the right shape. 
Each pine tree is hand sawn from a sheet of sterling silver, copper, or brass; hand fabricated with lots of attention to detail and love.
